1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixels. We use them to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the product is used.
2. How we use them
- Essential — authentication sessions, security (including CSRF protection), load balancing, and storing preferences required for the service to function. These are necessary and cannot be disabled in product while remaining signed in.
- Functional — remembering UI choices such as theme/vibe and local demo state on your device.
- Analytics (if enabled) — aggregated measurements of visits and feature use to improve reliability and product design. Where required by law, we will request consent before non-essential analytics cookies.
3. Local and demo storage
In local demo mode, Orbit may store product state in your browser’s local storage. That data stays on your device unless you later connect a cloud account under our Privacy Policy.
4. Managing cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings (block, delete, or alert). Blocking essential cookies may prevent sign-in or break core features. Industry tools such as browser tracking protections may also limit analytics.
5. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices change. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page will change accordingly. See also our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
