1. Agreement
By creating an account, clicking to accept, or using Orbit, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. The service
Orbit provides a personal team of AI advisors (including Orbi and specialists), conversation tools, memory features, and related product surfaces. Features may change, be limited by plan or capacity, or be offered in preview. We may update or discontinue features with reasonable notice when practicable.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated.
- You are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding your credentials.
- Notify us promptly of unauthorized access at hello@example.com.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (and at least 13).
4. AI output — important disclaimers
Orbit generates content using artificial intelligence. Outputs can be incomplete, incorrect, biased, or outdated. The service does not provide professional advice.
- Health & wellness advisors are not clinicians and do not diagnose, treat, or replace medical care.
- Relationship or personal advisors are not therapists or crisis services.
- Money and career advisors are not licensed financial, tax, or investment advisers unless we explicitly say a human professional is involved.
- Legal-oriented advisors provide general information only — not legal advice or attorney-client privilege.
For high-stakes decisions, emergencies, or regulated matters, consult a qualified human professional. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a crisis hotline — do not rely on Orbit.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit (messages, files, profile details, customizations). You grant Orbit a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the service for you, including sending necessary context to model providers.
You represent that you have the rights to submit your content and that it does not violate law or these Terms.
6. Our intellectual property
Orbit, including software, design, branding, catalogs, and documentation, is owned by Orbit or its licensors. Except for the limited right to use the service, no rights are granted.
7. Plans, capacity, and billing
Free and paid plans may limit advisors, capacity, or features. Capacity meters and plan labels in the product describe included usage; exceeding soft limits may reduce quality or speed. If paid billing is enabled, fees, renewals, and cancellations will be shown at checkout and governed by those purchase terms and our payment processor’s terms. Taxes may apply.
8. Acceptable use
You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it or that create security, legal, or operational risk.
9. Third-party services
The service may integrate or rely on third-party model providers, authentication, hosting, and other tools. Their availability and policies can affect Orbit. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.
10. Beta / early access
Features labeled preview, beta, demo, or similar are provided as-is and may be unstable, incomplete, or withdrawn. Local demo data may not sync to cloud accounts.
11. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT OUTPUTS WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR ERROR-FREE.
12. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORBIT AND ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed.
13. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Orbit against claims arising from your content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.
14. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations, risk, or if we discontinue the product. Provisions that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitations, and IP) will survive termination.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Courts in that jurisdiction will have exclusive venue for disputes that are not resolved informally, except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise.
16. Changes
We may modify these Terms. We will update the effective date and may provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
